No official details have been released by the Washington State Patrol while they are still on the scene of a vehicle vs pedestrian fatality collision that occurred around 1246 AM outside of Montesano on State Route 12 MP 15 eastbound.

Thanks to tips and questions to the page we went through our recorded scanner audio from our online feeds and found that at 1246 Saturday morning a vehicle struck a pedestrian that had been walking along the highway with another (non injured 0pedestrian) after their vehicle had broken down.  CPR was initiated on the scene by citizens, and taken over by EMS when they arrived.  The roadway was blocked for 6 hours for investigation and has just reopened after 630 AM.

We will post more details in an updated article when we get the official WSP report.

A quick overnight catch up from questions to the page and going over our recorded scanner radio traffic from our online feeds - Aberdeen PD took a report of a stolen vehicle that was later spotted in Elma just after 10pm, the vehicle failed to stop when officers tried to stop it and it took off up Lambert Road, to Keys road and around the Satsop Business Park and towers. The vehicle crashed through a yard and fence but still kept going Eventually the vehicle was disabled and one person took off on foot with another taken into custody quickly. The second subject was quickly apprehended as well. If we get more or an official press release we will get this post updated.

After being alerted to an early morning incident by a co-worker we went ahead and went through our recorded scanner broadcast audio to bring you this update.  This is not an official update, from any agencies involved.  Around 2:00 AM County Deputies were dispatched to reported shots fired in the 0 - 100 block of Melbourne St. The individuals shot at had pulled into a driveway/residence (as it sounds) and were fired upon.  They fled, with the suspect chasing them southbound on US 101 from MP 92.  The suspect then turned around and went northbound, with the victims now in pursuit.  The chase went down Dekay Road, then switched around again.  The victims pulled over at Ocean Beach RD MP 5 with the suspect vehicle, a black Dodge Charger with dealer plates continued southbound on Ocean Beach RD.  The victim's vehicle window appeared to have been shot out by a paintball or pellet gun according to radio traffic. From radio traffic, it did not appear that the suspect / suspects were apprehended as of 3:00 AM

If we get a press release update with more information we will update this catch up with a follow-up story.

While no official confirmation has been given by any investigating agencies we are told by neighbors that an elderly man has died in a fire that took place in Hoquiam.

Here is the alert post from that incident we posted this morning.
Fire was dispatched to a mobile home on fire, 425 Queen Ave, Hoquiam River Run RV Park at 5:56AM. A Nearby Trailer had an occupant show could not evacuate her trailer as her ramp was on the fire/exposed side. HPD officers arrived at the scene advising that the trailer was fully engulfed. A calling party also advised that the trailer on fire has an occupant unknown if is home, a 94-year-old. The fire was reported to be knocked down at 6:15 and in overhaul. No word if there was any occupant or not at this time.

And this is one for the books and we cannot wait to read the official press release on this one. This story involves a guy who puts a vehicle in the ditch and goes to try and steal a log loader to get his car out of the ditch.... It ends with one person tazed

This is an overnight call catch up  Overnight call catch-ups are incidents that our team find that occurred overnight and we go through our online recorded call audio from our GHScanner App Services.  We listen to the audio and these are the details of the incident that we are able to gather.  There has been no official press release as of writing this.

What started out as a suspicious circumstance turned out to include a vehicle fire with a person inside. The original rp, said the vehicle had been revving up with an occupant inside, with head back - believed the person was possibly suicidal. Rice near W 6th St, the calling party went to help get everyone out of the house as there was exposure. Officers arriving were unable to get to the occupant of the vehicle due to the fire, they then also advised that a second vehicle was on fire .

There was no indication that they were able to get the person out of the vehicle.
We will update more when we get an official press release.
