3 Transported With Injuries After Oakville Man Fails To Yield On State Route 12 Sunday

According to the Washington State Patrol, 3 locals were transported to Summit Pacific for injuries sustained after a 62-year-old Oakville man failed to yield on State Route 12 and Porter Creek RD Sunday, May 19th, 2024

The collision happened just before 4:00 PM on State Route 12 Porter, when a 62-year-old Oakville man driving a red 2006 Hyundai Tiburan was traveling east on State Route 12 and had gone into the center turn lane to make a left-hand turn, failing to yield turning in front of a white 1997 Honda Civic that was headed westbound on 12 that collided with the 62-year-old Oakville man.

The Oakville man, along with the driver of the Honda, a 23-year-old Elma man, and his passenger, a 25-year-old Elma woman, were transported with injuries to Summit Pacific.

Cause of the collision, failure to yield. No drugs or alcohol were involved.
