The Ocean Shores Police Department said is a social media only post Sunday that their officers made an arrest after 2 male suspects were caught after fleeing from officers from a detatched garage of a residence in the 700 block of Park Ave NE

At about 8:45 AM Sunday January 26th, 2025 Ocean Shores Police Department received a call regarding trespassing in the 700 block of Park Ave NE. Upon arrival it was determined to be a burglary in progress. Two male suspects were contacted while exiting a detached garage and both attempted to flee. One male quickly surrendered and was taken into custody. The second male hopped on his long board (skateboard) which he had left in the driveway and attempted to flee from Ofc. Roller. This second suspect made it a few blocks away before being taken into custody. Both suspects were found to be in possession of the victims property, as well as in possession of suspected narcotics.

Both subjects were booked into the Grays Harbor County jail for Burglary 2nd Degree and with additional charges being referred to the county prosecutors.

Sgt Church with the Ocean Shores Police Department said " We would like to send out a big Thank You to the observant citizens who observed the suspicious activity and took the time to report it".
