The Hoquiam Police Department says in a Social Media Post Thursday morning that Hoquiam Police and Medics were dispatched to the 100 block of Endresen Road at 1235 AM for a report of a motorcycle collision.

Upon arrival, units discovered a 26 year old Hoquiam man was unresponsive. Life saving efforts from bystanders and Paramedics were unsuccessful.

Preliminary investigation indicates the rider was northeast on Endresen Road on a 2003 Honda CBR600 and failed to negotiate a slight left curve, striking a guardrail. The rider was not wearing a helmet.
