The Washington State Patrol says that a 49-year-old woman was reaching for an item while driving, this caused her to go off the roadway, striking a power pole in Pacific County

The collision happened at 9:11 PM on State Route 103 near Cranberry RD on Sunday, June 18th.  A 49-year-old Ridgefield, Washington woman was traveling northbound state route 103 just south of Cranberry Road when she reached to retrieve an item inside the Vehicle. The vehicle then left the roadway and struck a power pole.
The driver was transported by aid to Ocean Beach hospital, no alcohol or other impairment was involved.
