This morning we have an update to a subscriber GHSAlert on a burglary that took place few days ago on January 11th at Alpha Media Group's radio station off of Coolidge Rd in south Aberdeen.
According to the Aberdeen Police Department and a social media post On January 11, 2025, at 7:28 p.m., Aberdeen officers were dispatched to a burglary-in-progress complaint. The reporting party advised that an alarm and camera were active in an enclosed fenced area in the 1300 block of Coolidge Road. The reporting party also advised that he could see a male inside the enclosed area

Officers arrived in the area; however, the suspect had already fled. Upon their initial investigation, it was determined that the suspect had removed items from the fenced area. Officer Noah Ewing deployed his K-9, Kibo, to track the suspect. Kibo tracked the suspect north on Coolidge Road, west on Macfarlane Street, and then into a field in the 500 block of Southwest Front Street. K-9 Kibo tracked the suspect in the field, where he was arrested for burglary.
The suspect, a 38-year-old Aberdeen resident, was booked into the Aberdeen City Jail for burglary
