Ocean Shores, WA — A potentially dangerous situation was brought to a safe conclusion yesterday, January 26th after Ocean Shores Police officers apprehended a felony suspect following reports of reckless driving.
According to Ocean Shores Police, officers received multiple calls from concerned citizens reporting a vehicle being driven in a reckless manner. When officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop, the driver refused to comply and fled, leading to a brief pursuit.
During the pursuit, the suspect vehicle struck another vehicle occupied by a single driver. That driver sustained minor injuries and was evaluated, with no serious injuries reported.

he pursuit ended after the suspect crashed the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot. Officers, including Sgt. Denny and Officers Fruh and Hynes, quickly pursued the suspect and took him into custody without further incident.
Further investigation revealed the suspect was driving with a suspended license and had an outstanding felony warrant. The individual was booked into the Grays Harbor County Jail on multiple charges.
