Aberdeen Police, working with the Grays Harbor County Drug Task Force, served a search warrant on a home in south Aberdeen yesterday. Police Chief Steve Shumate said in a press release that on Tuesday, September 4th at approximately 9:30 am officers and detectives jointly executed a search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of Cushing Street, Aberdeen. This was a nearly 5-week investigation into the sales and distribution of methamphetamine.

Officers arrested two individuals from the residence and seized drug-related items indicative of drugs sales. A 54-year-old female resident was booked into the Grays Harbor County Jail on drug-related charges. A 45-year-old female was also arrested and booked on unrelated warrants.
Shumate said that this is an ongoing investigation. The Aberdeen Police Department will continue to work in conjunction with the Grays Harbor County Drug Task Force on other illegal drug houses in and around the city.
