On 10-8-18, Aberdeen Police Officers were dispatched to a report of a suicidal subject on the Wishkah Street Bridge. A Good Samaritan Aberdeen resident saw a despondent citizen climb over the pedestrian railing of the bridge and feared the subject was going to try to jump off. The citizen pulled the subject back over the railing, called 911 and remained with the subject until officers arrived a short time later. Officers were able to assist the subject. Thank you to the concerned citizen for helping out a fellow Aberdonian.

A citizen (not an officer) stepped up to the plate today and helped someone who was trying to commit suicide off the Wishkah bridge today in Aberdeen.
