...FROST AND BLACK ICE WILL CREATE LOCALLY HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS AGAIN TONIGHT AND THURSDAY MORNING... With temperatures dropping below freezing again Thursday morning, areas of frost and patchy black ice will create locally hazardous driving conditions across Western Washington. Patchy fog and freezing fog, mainly in the most fog-prone spots of the south Puget Sound region and south interior lowlands, will be present as well. The weather and road conditions Thursday morning will be similar to the conditions that contributed to numerous traffic accidents Wednesday morning. Temperatures vary widely over a short distance, so you can drive into an area of freezing temperatures and icy roads suddenly and without warning. Please give yourself extra travel time and drive carefully.
