Tonight we have an update to an incident that took place on March 6th.  Our alert on our Facebook page was first an accident on State Route 105 where a Washington State Patrol trooper was asking for assistance at a traffic accident where a female driver was being combative.  Well, the story didn't start there says Lt Darst with the Aberdeen Police Department.

On 3/6/18, an Aberdeen Police Officer was dispatched to 220 W. 1st Street for a theft complaint.  During the investigation, the officer learned that a sketchy character with short hair was seen hanging around the business.  One of the employees discovered her purse missing along with her wallet and belongings that were in the employee only area.  Another employee discovered his keys missing and checked for his car, which was discovered missing.  While the officer was taking the report, he was advised by other officers that the suspect who stole the car had crashed on SR 105 south of the Bishop Complex.

A juvenile female was arrested at the scene of the crash.  She was highly agitated and fought the officers on scene.  She attempted to bite officers and assaulted two of the officers.  She had multiple injuries and eventually had to be transported by an Ambulance to the hospital.

The vehicle that the suspect was driving was the same vehicle that had been reported stolen from 220 W. 1st.  Also located were the stolen items from the other victim at that location.  The case is being forwarded to the GH Prosecutor's Office for review and filing of multiple charges.
