The Hoquiam Police Department still has no suspect in the robbery which occurred on May 25, 2018 at Smoketown, and there is now a reward being offered for credible information leading to the arrest of the person.  More from Chief Jeff Myers below.

The Hoquiam Police Department is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect depicted in the attached surveillance photos and video of a robbery which occurred on May 25, 2018.

A canine track of the suspect that evening was unsuccessful. Detectives have been following up on leads and tips since the robbery, but so far we have been unable to identify the suspect.

Please look at the video and share it with others. It should be noted this suspect was confronted at gunpoint by an armed citizen who saw the clerk summoning help outside while the suspect was inside attempting to pry open the register with a knife. The suspect was lucky to have slipped out the door without being shot.

If the suspect is someone from the Harbor, we believe someone will know this person or the suspect will have related the story of being confronted that evening during the robbery. HPD will provide a $500 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
