Slowing to clear debris off the roadway was the cause of yesterday's accident on State Route 105 at Johns River Bridge an incident that caused a 2 car collision seeing one person transported to Grays Harbor Community Hospital for their injuries. 
The accident occurred at 1:15 Friday Afternoon June 26th on State Route 105 when a 2019 Honda CR-V driven by a 54-year-old Aberdeen woman was traveling northbound and slowed down to remove an object from the roadway.  An 85-year-old Grayland woman in a 2018 Ford Focus had also been traveling northbound and attempted to avoid the CR-V striking the guardrail, overcorrecting and then striking the CR-V.  
A passenger in the CR-V a 56-year old Hoquiam woman was transported to Community Hospital for injuries.  The driver of the CR-V and the other passenger a 10-year-old was not injured nor was the  Grayland woman, the driver of the Ford Focus.  
The cause of the accident according to the report is stopping in the roadway with charges of negligent driving 2nd degree.
