According to a social media release, the Pacific County Sheriffs Office was searching for a missing person Monday morning (details of who were not released) that had went missing the night before on an ATV
The Pacific County Sheriffs Office announced that the county drug task for made another arrest after a year-long investigation into drug trafficking
On July 27th, 2023 the Drug Task Force made an arrest connected to a year-long investigation into the sale and distribution of fentanyl, methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, and other controlled substances in Pacific County.
The collision occurred on Friday morning July 28th at 6:15 AM on US 101 MP 34 near Nemah Bay. They say that the 31-year-old Rochester, WA man was traveling northbound on 101 at a high rate of speed and lost control. The motorcycle he was on a 2007 Honda CBR1000 went off the roadway and came to rest in the southbound side ditch.
It is unknown if there was any alcohol or drugs involved, speeds too fast for conditions is cited as the cause.
The man was airlifted to Peace Health SW Medical Center, Vancouver
