A 63-year-old Raymond, Washington man is being charged with 2 counts of vehicular Assault after a DUI collision in Pacific County on Tuesday just north of Raymond on US 101.

The collision occurred on US 101 at milepost 60 just north of Raymond, on June 27th 2023 at 4:21 PM.
The 63-year-old man was driving a silver 2000 Toyota pickup truck traveling northbound US 101 when the truck left the roadway to the right, overcorrected, re-entered the northbound lane and crossed over into the southbound lane.
The vehicle struck a 1998 Ford Expedition driven by a 41-year-old Long Beach woman that was in the southbound lanes traveling south.
The Raymond man was transported to community hospital for injuries an a blood draw for the DUI test. The Long Beach woman, along with a 47-year-old male, and a 9-year-old child were all 3 transported to the hospital for their injuries as well.
