In this WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT - Thurston County Sheriff's Deputies in pursuit of a motorcycle that crosses over into Grays Harbor

Here is the alert that we posted - Thurston County SO in pursuit of a motorcycle 130 mph plus WB SR 8 MP 18 currently towards Grays Harbor, multiple officers setting up to intercept.

McCleary and Elma officers set up to monitor the motocycle McCleary officer spotted him westbound on SR 8 going over 100 MPH. Sounds like Grays Harbor County Sheriffs Deputies were not authorized to get involved since the pursuit was over erratic driving and high speeds only.

Elma officer spotted the motorcycle which was going 100 MPH plus and turned around on SR 8 and started going in the wrong lanes to go eastbound. Elma officer picked up and went in pursuit. Once the motorcyclist got up to McCleary the McCleary officer picked up the pursuit heading back into Thurston County.

Thurston County Deputies picked the pursuit back up however terminated the pursuit just past the Summit Lake Grocery and through Mud Bay as the motorcycle went into the wrong direction lanes on US 101 at high rate of speed into traffic.
